About This Project
Oregon Budget Priorities was created to help show the human impact of the budget cuts facing the state of Oregon. The budget widget is designed to give Oregonians a hands-on feel for the types of decisions that are facing lawmakers.
Most of the budget cuts (and their impacts) are taken directly from the agencies’ 25% Budget Reduction Lists, which were compiled to show where the agencies would make cuts if they were faced with a 25% loss in funding.
